Most thorough inspection I've ever seen. They send you the inspection results along with photos showing everything relevant. They were able to get my 2000 tocoma in, inspected and repaired on short notice before I was to go on a very long road trip. They are good people and care about their work.

Greg is an amazing technician! He got my appointment all set up and listened to all my concerns about my car. He didn’t make me feel stupid like how a lot of auto repairs treat women. He’s been the only mechanic to actually fix the brakes on my car and explained everything in full detail unlike other shops around here. Not thrilled. Communication needs work. Son was home on military leave for a few days. April stated that work would be done inside of timeline. Nope. Picked up the vehicle and had to pay $312 for diagnostic time, but zero repairs done. Going elsewhere.

My experience is as follows: I'm new to the Idaho Falls area, and needed a simple oil change. I'm very particular with car repair shops and thought I'll try Empey's Truck and Auto Repair. To be honest all I wanted was a quick oil change on my 2016 Toyota Highlander and was told that this would take approximately one and half hours. I was a little shocked as to why it took so long for an oil change but was patient with my appointment, and I waited in the reception area. When my car was finished, I never expected to receive a complete check up on my car. I was sent a link of the completed check list inspection and the results on each item that was checked in addition to my oil change. I was completely impressed as to what was inspected at no additional cost. For the past 8 years, I have religiously taken care of my car and expected nothing but a perfect report. I didn't even needing air filter replacements. This inspection was noted with a 100% check-up needing absolutely nothing more than a oil change as requested. Empey's has earned my business on all future repairs to my car because they're honest and didn't take advantage of unnecessary repairs to my well maintained car. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone, who is looking for exceptional service on their automobile. I was impressed and I'm sure you will be as well.
