Not thrilled. Communication needs work. Son was home on military leave for a few days. April stated that work would be done inside of timeline. Nope. Picked up the vehicle and had to pay $312 for diagnostic time, but zero repairs done. Going elsewhere.

My experience is as follows: I'm new to the Idaho Falls area, and needed a simple oil change. I'm very particular with car repair shops and thought I'll try Empey's Truck and Auto Repair. To be honest all I wanted was a quick oil change on my 2016 Toyota Highlander and was told that this would take approximately one and half hours. I was a little shocked as to why it took so long for an oil change but was patient with my appointment, and I waited in the reception area. When my car was finished, I never expected to receive a complete check up on my car. I was sent a link of the completed check list inspection and the results on each item that was checked in addition to my oil change. I was completely impressed as to what was inspected at no additional cost. For the past 8 years, I have religiously taken care of my car and expected nothing but a perfect report. I didn't even needing air filter replacements. This inspection was noted with a 100% check-up needing absolutely nothing more than a oil change as requested. Empey's has earned my business on all future repairs to my car because they're honest and didn't take advantage of unnecessary repairs to my well maintained car. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone, who is looking for exceptional service on their automobile. I was impressed and I'm sure you will be as well. This place is amazing!! There were a few hiccups with my vehicle but the team ensured they could help me. They even gave me a loaner car because a part that was delayed. Being a mother with a child in school, this made it worth everything! They were very transparent and very helpful

Took too long, cost too much

Such a fantastic place! I went there for the first time because I was having issues with my eco-diesel and just simply found them off Google, but so glad I picked them! They give the best and most transparent vehicle inspections, and are completely honest. They were able to get my truck done quickly and work with my crazy work schedule. Greg was open, honest, and straightforward which was so nice. Highly recommend and will only be using them going forward.
